EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Hans A. Schefferlie (AAAMSA)

Hans Schefferlie is the Executive Director of the AAAMSA Group comprising eight trade Associations representing the Fenestration, Glass, Thermal Insulation and Ceiling & Partitioning Industries.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), Association of South African Quantity Surveyors (ASAQS) and the South African Glass Institute (SAGI).

He serves on the boards of Mater Builders South Africa (MBSA) and Specialist Engineering Contracts Committee (SECC).

In addition he is Chairman of the Thermal Insulation Association of Southern Africa, Secretary of the Specialist Engineering Contracts Committee, registrar of the South African Glass Institute and member of the Technical and CPAP Haylett committees of the Joint Building Contracts Committee (JBCC).

Furthermore he participates in numerous SABS workgroup meetings and is member of Technical Committee TC 59 and Chairman of SABS SC 59C and SABS Review Board.
