SA Shower Enclosure Manufacturers Association
The South African Shower Enclosure Manufactures Association ensure that the requirements for domestic purposes which includes use in hotels, accommodation for students, hospitals and similar buildings, are in accordance with the requirements and installation instructions to provide the satisfactory performance when used as intended.
The Association was formed to ensure that shower enclosure manufacturer provide with each shower enclosure detailed instructions on installation and use, to include at least the following information:
- description of installation with special consideration of building construction and necessary tools, sealing etc.;
- instruction for appropriate maintenance and care.
Installation specifications are of paramount importance to ensure safety measures are in place.
